V. The people

A family affair.

Quite literally. Bertie and Lee-ann are the directors, and their eldest, Oliver, builds a good deal of what runs underneath.

Bertie Cordingley

Director

Bertie launched FillMyBelly in 2006, his first real build, designed from a rough presentation because he could not write the code himself. Just Eat bought it in 2012. He stayed on as a director in Just Eat’s UK management team through the float, then spent three years on the global side as Director of Global Systems.

He never went to university. Everything he knows came from running businesses, raising money for other people’s, and investing in a few of his own. He has always been a product person: work out what should exist, then get it built.

Today he runs NotLuck, where he can finally build it himself, and mentors owners through Bertiecord.

Lee-ann Cordingley

Director

Lee-ann built FillMyBelly alongside Bertie, and brought a background in banking and financial services to it. She is a certified yoga teacher with twenty-five years on the mat, and a certified sex coach and clinical sexologist.

She runs All You Yoga, with its Elevate virtual studio, and The Sex Coach, her coaching practice for midlife women. She performs burlesque as Sasha le Swank. At NotLuck she shapes the tone of everything the company says, which is why its chatbots sound like people.

Oliver Cordingley

Company secretary

Oliver is our eldest, and the company secretary. Self-taught, he builds the integrations and automations that make everything talk to each other, and manages the data that flows between them so nobody else has to think about it.

When something has to work by morning, it is usually Oliver who makes it work.
