What it is
NotLuck puts every call, message, quote, booking, invoice and review into one system, sets it up and keeps it running. One login, and a phone that answers. Every plan includes CRM Club: weekly training, office hours and a community of owners doing the same thing.
Build Days are the other half. Bring your messiest process in the morning and leave with custom software in the evening: quoting engines, onboarding flows, paperless back offices, AI that handles the phone. You are in the room while it gets built.
Why we built it
For twenty years Bertie had the ideas and somebody else had to build them. What changed is that he can now build it himself, the same day he thinks of it. That is the whole of NotLuck.
The scarce thing was never the building. It is knowing which thing is worth building, and what happens the month after. Too many good businesses were drowning in admin and paying for tools they hated. We wanted to be the people who fix that, in the room, in plain English.
What we are proud of
- i.
Ideas Fest, offline
The festival’s internet died, so NotLuck built an offline guide overnight. Every talk, speaker and map, shared phone to phone with no signal, on 437 phones by four o’clock on day two.
- ii.
A quote in minutes
An instant quoting engine for C J Challoner Cleaning, with booking built in, fed by a pricing matrix rebuilt from the old tool. A clean priced in minutes, not after the weekend.
- iii.
A sweepstake that became a product
A World Cup sweepstake for The HoLT’s 500 members, with a password gate, instant draws, a live leaderboard and cheat detection with a sense of humour. It went down well enough to become a product anyone can run.
How it is made
Family-run, from Fenchurch House on King Street, Nottingham. AI on tap, humans on hand: a person takes the decision on every job.
